Dr Thomas Beyerle

Managing Director, Catella Property Valuation GmbH, Germany

Dr. Thomas Beyerle is in central responsibility as Group Head of Research in the internationally operating Catella Group and will substantially expand the independent market research. In this capacity he will also function as Managing Director.

His function particular involves all research activities according to transactions, investment planning, fundraising and all research publication within the Catella Group. His role will include the Group companies Catella AB, Catella Corporate Finance AB, Catella Real Estate AG Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, Catella Property GmbH and he will be Managing Director of Catella Property Valuation GmbH Chartered Surveyors.

Thomas Beyerle, Phd and graduated geographer, studied geography and business management at the universities of Stuttgart and Mannheim. From 1995 to 1999 he was Head of Division at Stuttgart-based Dr. Lübke Immobilien GmbH, a subsidiary of Dresdner Bank. From 1999 until 2002, when Dresdner Bank was taken over by Allianz he was director and head of the Research & Consulting division of Dresdner Bank Real-Estate Group (since 2003 of DEGI, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Immobilienfonds mbH). After the takeover of DEGI by Aberdeen Property Investors plc. in 2008 he was appointed Head of Global Research for the Aberdeen Group. Dr. Beyerle most recently worked with IVG Immobilien AG as Managing Director and was responsible for the sustainability activities and research.

Dr. Beyerle has been temporary lecturer of various real-estate colleges and training institutes for more than 10 years. He runs the working group “market analysis and demand research” for gif. e.V. Gesellschaft für immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung. Furthermore, he is speaker at renowned real-estate congresses and author of numerous articles and textbooks.
