Wilm Schwarzpaul

Wilm Schwarzpaul is managing partner of ecoPARKS and founded ecoPARKS with the owners of Landmarken AG in 2021.

ecoPARKS is long-term real estate investor and developer. ecoPARKS is aiming to define a new standard of sustainability in the market for industrial/logistic buildings and other real estate typologies with productive + flexible spaces.

Wilm was previously managing director of ISG Deutschland GmbH and Managing Director “Logistic and Distribution” CEE/Europe. ISG is a UK based general contractor who works mainly for corporate clients like Amazon, Google, … in UK and across Europe.

Before that Wilm Schwarzpaul was manging director of VGP in Germany and started off the VGP activities in Germany in 2013. He was appointed managing director in early 2014 and was significantly responsible for VGPs growth and success track in Germany. When Wilm Schwarzpaul left VGP in late 2019, VGP had become one of the top 3 leading developers for industrial and logistic buildings in Germany and had developed more than 20 logistic Parks across Germany.

His professional career Wilm started in several architecture offices in leading functions and he worked for Metro Properties, the real estate brand of the Metro Group.

Wilm Schwarzpaul holds a degree from “Peter Behrens School of Architecture”, Düsseldorf (Diploma in Architecture), as well as from the “Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya/ UPC”, Barcelona (Master of Advanced Architecture).
