Simon Schödel

Simon is a Vice President at Starz Real Estate, where he is involved in all aspects of loan origination, underwriting and execution.

Prior to Starz, Simon worked as a junior investment manager in the real estate department of MEAG, the global asset manager of the Munich Re Group, where he was involved in the selection and execution of indirect investments with a strong focus on REITs. During his tenure at MEAG, Simon contributed to new investments with a volume of more than €300 MM.

Fluent in German and English, Simon holds a master’s degree in Finance from University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Economics from University of Hamburg.
