Lars-Henning Stephan is the Head of Value Add Strategies Germany, primarily responsible for the pan-European pooled funds and separate accounts managed by AEW in Germany. Among other roles, he managed the office fund “AEW City Office Germany,” which was sold in 2020 with an internal rate of return (IRR) of approximately 15%. Mr. Stephan has 15 years of professional experience in asset and fund management of real estate assets across Europe, North America, and Australia.

Before joining AEW, Mr. Stephan worked in the real estate divisions of Deutsche Bank (RREEF) and Siemens, as well as in the special fund management at TRIUVA (formerly IVG Institutional Funds). Mr. Stephan holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Banking from WHL Graduate School of Business and Economics (Lahr) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Technical University of Ingolstadt. Lars-Henning is a trained industrial clerk (IHK) and speaks fluent German and English.
