Georg Gutfleisch

Georg Gutfleisch is attorney-at-law in the Corporate/M&A practice group of CMS in Vienna. His practice focuses on real estate transactions and construction projects, with a specific emphasis on renewable energy and ESG-related aspects.

He regularly advises both national and international companies on transactions and investments in residential and commercial real estate across Austria, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe, including on issues related to renewable energy and sustainability.

In the course of his legal practice, he has gained significant experience in the areas of rooftop-PV, as well as the establishment and operation of energy sharing concepts and renewable energy communities. His clientele predominantly comprises national and international companies and start-ups, mainly active in the real estate and renewable energy sectors. His keen interest lies in exploring the alignment of conventional corporate law with progressive industry advancements and emerging technologies.
