Kenny Macinnes

Principal Economy Officer, The Highland Council, UK

Kenny is a graduate of The University of Glasgow (MA Hons, Social Sciences 1985).

He started his career in Local Government Economic Development with the Western Isles Islands Council (1988-94), and went on to work with Ross and Cromarty District Council (1994-96). He joined The Highland Council at Local Government re-organisation (1996- to date) and has worked in a variety of roles including managing the Council’s Business Gateway Service as well as leading on Inward Investment, Renewable Energy, and ICT infrastructure/Broadband Rollout.
