Dilip Awtani

Dilip Awtani has been a director in the Real Estate Portfolio Management Key Accounts team since October 2021 and supports institutional investors with their real estate investment funds. As a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA Dilip has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Among others in principle investments, corporate finance, corporate real estate, and investment banking of which the last 20 years in real estate. His career path includes roles as Head of Europe and Asia for Colony Capital, Head of European Investments at GE Capital, and Head of European Illiquid Assets at Houlihan Lokey. Prior to this Dilip had various roles at JP Morgan, Commerzbank, and IBM. After another stint as CEO and Global Head of Real Estate for a steel conglomerate, Dilip is now at Universal Investment.
