Christian Scheuerl

Christian Scheuerl (born 1981) is Managing Partner of Neworld Investment Management. Neworld IM is an investment and asset manager for various kinds of operational assets in the residential sector. Neworld IM is currently structuring a regulated AIF with a target volume of 200m€ equity and a dedicated ESG strategy.

Christian is leading the acquisition and fund management and oversees the future pipeline, fundraising, transactions and day to day business.

Prior positions include MPC Capital and ECE Projektmanagment in Hamburg. As part of the MPC Capital group, Christian’s micro living team has successfully raised Germany’s first regulated Student Housing fund (SHV I) and transacted over 200m€ in PBSA assets in Germany in the last years. Christian has grown the Staytoo brand from a first idea to over 1000 beds in operation and additional 500 under construction.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the area of Real Estate and Asset Management and holds a German law Degree from Bucerius Law School Hochschule für Rechtswissenschaften and an MBA in international real estate management from International Real Estate Business School (IREBS).
