Bob van der Zande is Director Residential Development for the City of Amsterdam. He is responsible for several residential programmes like midsegment rental housing, the self-built housing programme and student housing. He runs the Amsterdam Investors Office Residential to attract national and international investors. He is also strategic advisor for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area organisation, including the 15 surrounding municipalities. He is member of the executive board of ULI The Netherlands, responsable also for the Dutch stand at MIPIM and Expo Real Munich. He graduated at the Delft University in 1978 as urban designer and contributed over the years to Zuidas and Eastern Docklands development.
