Mahdi Mokrane, MRICS
Head of European Research & Strategy, LaSalle Investment Management
Mahdi is the Head of European Research & Strategy. He joined LaSalle in June 2013 and is based in London. He is responsible for European property investment strategy and the regional Strategy team. Mahdi works closely with the Global Strategy team and serves on LaSalle’s European Investment Committees and European Management Board.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Mahdi worked at AEW Europe, where he was Head of Research and Strategy. He has extensive experience in real estate transactions and portfolio management in both UK and Continental European markets. Previously, Mahdi worked at IPD as Director for Research and Training for France and Southern Europe from 2001 to 2004.
He taught at the ESSEC Business School and holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from EHESS and an MSc from Dauphine University. Mahdi is also an active member of IPD, INREV, IPF and the ICSC, and he is a regular speaker at industry events. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
