Michał Mieciński is a qualified attorney-at-law and a Partner in the Real Estate and Construction Department at CMS in Poland, with almost 30 years’ market experience. Michał has extensive experience advising international and local investors, funds and developers in complex real estate transactions in Poland and in the CEE region, including acquisitions and disposals of office buildings, shopping malls, retail parks and mixed-use centres, hotels, student housing, PRS, as well as logistic assets. He has high-level expertise in various types of real estate transactions and structures, including real estate M&A and joint ventures, portfolio transactions, sale and leaseback, forward sale/purchase transactions, mergers, corporate and organisational restructurings, as well as financing and refinancing of real estate transactions. Michał has also broad corporate, M&A and PE experience: in the past, he has advised clients in CEE on various transactions in banking, insurance, consumer goods, automotive, healthcare, as well as the food and media sectors in Poland and CEE. Before joining CMS in 2021, Michał was associated with the Warsaw office of Linklaters since its opening in Poland.
