Vesa Palander

Vesa Palander is an international serial entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience building and scaling businesses across Finland, Denmark, the UK, Germany, the USA, and the UAE, with four successful exits to date. A former senior executive at Nokia, Jabra, and Coloplast, he is passionate about business development, strategic partnerships, and organizational improvement. Since May 2024, he has served as Director of Business and Economic Development for the City of Turku, driving urban growth through land use, housing policy, mobility, and green transition initiatives. Palander wants to make Turku “the best place on earth for companies and for people.”
