Vanessa Muscarà is Director of Real Estate Research and Strategy at Zurich Insurance, based at the Group’s global headquarters in Zurich. She leads the analysis of global real estate markets and the development of investment strategies for both Zurich’s balance sheet and third‑party clients.

Before joining Zurich, Vanessa worked at Europa Capital, initially as Head of Research and Strategy and later as Director of Investment Strategy. Earlier in her career, she was Associate Director of Property Research at M&G Real Estate.

Vanessa is an active contributor to the research community. She is a Past Chair of the Society of Property Researchers and the INREV Research Committee and has been involved with the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative. She holds a Master’s degree in European Property Development and Planning from University College London and a Master’s degree in European Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick.
