Mr. Cornet’s service at the firm dates back to 2007. Prior to his current role, he was the Portfolio Manager of a global core real estate account, and head of the U.S. Real Assets Research & Strategy team. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Cornet was a Senior Real Estate Economist for Property & Portfolio Research (PPR) in Boston. Before moving to PPR in 2004, he worked as an Acquisitions Associate at ING (Clarion) Real Estate in The Hague, The Netherlands. Mr. Cornet started his career as a Retail Analyst at Jones Lang LaSalle in 2000, where he worked in the London, UK office.

Mr. Cornet holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
