Steffen Szeidl has been a member of the Executive Board at Drees & Sommer SE in Stuttgart since 2015. A trained architect with degrees from TU Darmstadt and ETH Zurich, he joined the company in 2006 and advanced rapidly through various leadership roles. Szeidl played a key role in establishing and expanding the Swiss branch, which now employs over 200 people. At just 34, he was appointed to the Executive Board. As CEO, he is responsible for driving the Group’s strategic focus areas, including sustainability, digitalization, and international growth. With extensive experience advising companies and public-sector organizations, he brings insights into how economic, environmental, technological, and societal trends are reshaping industries, cities, and infrastructure worldwide. His leadership has received repeated industry recognition, including being named CEO of the Year 2026 by the European Real Estate Brand Institute and Head of the Year 2025 at the Immobilienmanager Awards.
