Robert Heffner

Mr. Robert Heffner is Advisor to the CEO at the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA). He is responsible for increasing the number and quality of the Hungarian Investment Projects, which are to be offered to international investors. Prior to his currents assignment Mr. Heffner has worked in the telecom sector – as director of business administration at Siemens, then later as leader of a multinational team responsible for project financing and controlling at Nokia. Mr. Heffner has an investment banking background, after finishing his financial studies he started banking at BAWAG in Vienna, then he was a treasury sales dealer at the Dutch ABN AMRO Bank and the French Credit Lyonnais, later on he was involved in projects financing at Deutsche Leasing. As father of three children, he is passionate about sustainable development, especially about sustainable, energy efficient architecture.
