He holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Comercial de Deusto. Executive Development Program at Esade. He leads PwC Europe’s Infrastructure and Construction Committee and is a member of the PwC Global committee. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute Spain and of PwC EMEA real estate.

With 32 years of experience in the infrastructure and real estate sector, including 18 years as a partner working with IBEX 35 construction and real estate companies, as well as infrastructure and real estate funds, both in their domestic businesses and in their international expansion, especially in the USA. He has participated in IPOs, privatizations, acquisition processes, corporate governance matters, and sector trends.

Rafael has also held innovation responsibilities at PwC, developing technology projects associated with best practices in the real estate and construction sector. At the international level, Rafael has participated in various programs in San Jose, USA (innovation), London (real estate sector), and Switzerland (quality). His technical knowledge, international experience, and business vision have led him to be recognized globally and to lead the sector at PwC Europe.
