Pierre-David Baylac
Head of Logistics, CBRE Global Investors
Pierre-David Baylac is the Fund Director for the European Industrial Fund and the Logistics Property Fund Europe. He is also member of the EMEA Management Board and Chairman of the European Industrial Platform.
He joined CBRE Global Investors (formerly ING Real Estate Investment Management) in 2009 from Aberdeen Property Investors France (previously Goodman Property Investors), a company he has set up in Paris in 2005 for Arlington Securities. He held the position of Head of Funds Management France and Country Manager and was also portfolio manager for a Nordics separate account, building up a 12 asset portfolio with a defensive strategy in France.
Prior to that, he was Fund Manager for AEW Europe’s (then Ixis AEW) Logistics 1 fund, a major French logistic fund and held several positions at GE Capital UIS and Deutsche Bank.
Pierre David has 21 years of experience in real estate and 18 years in logistics property. He holds a Master in Real Estate from Paris I Sorbonne University and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a Master in Law from University Paris II (Panthéon). He is a Chartered Surveyor MRICS
