The current megatrend ESG (environmental, social, governance) is a radical change from what we used to call ‘sustainability’. ESG stands for a more holistic approach that combines sustainability with themes such as health and well-being.

A feature of the ESG movement is that sustainability and health performance must be measured objectively and results and actions must be shared publicly. Whatever stage your organisation is at, it is time to fully embrace the ESG era. The ability to measure performance and progress in sustainability and health determines the difference between winners and losers.

Paul has years of experience in organising and confidentially handling data in real estate. He was previously involved as a founding partner with information and data company PropertyNL/EU and before that with Vastgoedmarkt. He is trained as an appraiser and holds various additional positions, including chairman of the RICS Research & Innovation Working Group and member of the RICS Europe Sustainability Working Group.
