Martin Vest joined Aareal Bank in 2001 as Head of the French, Belgian and Luxembourg credit department. He developed the Bank’s business with the German open ended fund industry and established the Business Development unit within Aareal Bank.
Since 2013 Martin Vest is Managing Director Western Europe, covering Aareal Bank’s property financing business in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Spain. In his former position as Managing Director Business Development at Aareal Bank’s head office in Wiesbaden, he was responsible for the planning and coordination of the Bank’s global property financing business activities as well as for it’s syndication business and research.
Martin Vest has more than fifteen years of experience in the field of international property finance in various European countries and has professional experience in Germany, France and Hong Kong.
Martin Vest holds a degree in economics of the Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz (Germany).
