As CEO of CBRE B.V., The Netherlands, Marco Hekman is responsible for the daily management of the organisation as well as maintaining the most important contacts with the real estate market and the CBRE network.
He is a key player in sales and acquisitions – especially in the investment market.

Since joining the firm in 1988, Marco has played a key role in establishing the investment department as a leading consultancy business in the Netherlands.

Mr Hekman graduated in 1988 from the Higher Economical & Administrative Education (HEAO) and specialized in Real Estate. In 1995 he became a Master of Real Estate (MRE) at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate. Mr Hekman is a Fellow member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
