Luca Turco
Head of Institutional & Corporate Business Development and Business Relations, Prelios SpA
Born in Rome (Italy), in 1980, he graduated at Università La Sapienza of Rome.
He started his working experience in 2004 in Capitalia S.p.A. as junior analyst in the Investor Relations Team in Rome (staff of the CEO).
After that experience, he worked from 2005 to 2007 in Fimit SGR S.p.A. (now IDeA Fimit SGR) as analyst within the Investor Relations and Business Development Group (staff of the CEO), where he worked also on the placement and IPO of two closed end real estate funds for retail investors and for the rating process of the company and its managed funds.
From 2007 to 2008 he worked in Feidos S.p.A. where he worked as real estate finance consultant for various primary industrial and real estate groups, followed a public tender offer on a real estate fund listed on Borsa Italiana and worked on the start-up of a fund management company and on the acquisition of an important stake in Fimit SGR S.p.A. (now IDeA Fimit SGR) through a management buyout transaction.
From 2008 to 2012 he worked again in Fimit SGR S.p.A. (now IDeA Fimit SGR) as Business Development Manager and responsible for the launch of new real estate funds. In that experience he coordinated various projects of real estate finance (direct investments) and developed new real estate products for the market, executing deals for an overall amount of over € 3 bln (working both on the execution and fund raising activities).
During 2012 he joined again Feidos S.p.A. and followed for the company the investment in Prelios.
Starting from January 2013 he was appointed in Prelios S.p.A. as Head of Institutional & Corporate Business Development and Business Relation (staff of the Deputy Chairman), with focus on the development of new business for the Group both in the real estate and NPL service and asset management in Europe.
