Lars Schnidrig

Lars Schnidrig is the Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Board, and a member of the Investment Committee of CORESTATE Capital Group. He is responsible for Strategy and Business Development, as well as the areas of Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance. He manages the Group’s entire Finance Department, including the areas of Controlling, Debt Finance, Treasury, Accounting and Reporting as well as Taxes and Investment Structuring.

Born in Switzerland, Lars began his professional career in management consulting. He worked for around eight years in international investment banking at HypoVereinsbank and other banks, with stations in London, Paris, Dublin, New York and Munich, before joining today’s Vonovia SE (DAX 30) in 2008 as Head of Finance and Treasury. In 2013, he was appointed CFO and Chairman of the Management Board of Vonovia Finance B.V., a financing subsidiary based in Amsterdam. His responsibilities there included Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Human Resources, Taxes and Compliance. He joined CORESTATE Capital Group in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer and recently served also as Interim CEO.

Lars holds a Master in Economics from the University of Freiburg, a Master in Law (LL.M.) from the University of Münster, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the OU Business School in Great Britain.
