José Manuel Llovet

José Manuel Llovet is an experienced professional in the Spanish property sector, in which for 25 years he has occupied key posts in the leading companies in commercial property and specifically in shopping centres. He is a graduate of CUNEF, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Association of Shopping Centres (AECC). He was on the Board of RICS in Spain. He participates in conferences, meetings and national trade fairs.

From January 2015 to the present he has been Director General of Retail for GRUPO LAR. He is Sole Manager of LAR ESPAÑA, the top SOCIMI in Spain and the only SOCIMI focusing on retail, which boasts a €1.4 billion portfolio including 14 commercial assets, of which 10 are the leading shopping centres in their area.

He was previously Director of Retail Capital Markets Spain for JLL, where he arrived after working in Unibail-Rodamco as Director of Investment Management. He held similar managerial posts in other companies such as SCCE, Lease, FCC or Banco Inversión, complementing his extensive CV.
