Jason M. Lucas

Jason M. Lucas is president of Amstar Global Advisers, an Amstar subsidiary responsible for nearly all of Amstar’s investments outside of the Americas. In addition, Mr. Lucas is the portfolio manager for Amstar Global Advisers’ international investment funds. He leads and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s investments in Turkey, Russia and India, and is a member of Amstar’s Investment Committee. Mr. Lucas currently works in Amstar’s London office.

Before joining Amstar in 2007, Mr. Lucas was with Broadreach Capital Partners in Los Angeles where he assisted in the acquisition of more than $500 million of office, hospitality, retail and multifamily properties. Prior to that, Mr. Lucas worked for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds, where he advised clients on a wide range of financial and strategic alternatives, including mergers, acquisitions, buyouts and capital raises.

Mr. Lucas is a member of ICSC & ULI and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences, including MIPIM, ExpoReal and MAPIC.

Mr. Lucas graduated with honors from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics.
