Inga Schwarz is Head Research at BNP Paribas Real Estate (BNPPRE) Consult GmbH and has 24 years of experience in the German real estate industry. Prior to returning to BNPPRE, where she had started her career in the late 1990s, she headed Cushman & Wakefield’s German Research Department for ten years and built Avison Young’s German Research capacities from scratch. She studied geography at the University of Hamburg and at Queen’s University in Ontario / Canada in combination with the minor subjects economics and sociology.
She is a member of the Counsellors of Real Estate (CRE), the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the German Association for Applied Geography (DVAG), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Society for Real Estate Research eV (gif), where she was Deputy head of the Real Estate Market Research Competence Group for seven years. Inga Schwarz is an active member of the European Research Group of the European Council of Shopping Spaces (ECSP), formerly the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
