Helga Blum has diverse and extensive experience in the area of commercial real estate banking. She currently serves as Managing Director, Head of U.S. Real Estate Finance at the New York office of BayernLB, a position she has held since 2018 when BayernLB re-launched its U.S. commercial real estate lending platform. Previously, Helga has worked at BNY, Europhypo, HypoVereinsbank and Helaba in New York in various CRE Origination and Risk Management roles. Helga has been a member of the Real Estate Lenders Association since 1995, and since 2009 has been actively involved in RELA as a New York Chapter officer as well as a member of RELA’s National Board.
