Gijs Sleijffers joined Colliers as Director Debt Advisory Netherlands in December 2021. He leads the team that focuses on attracting financing for developers and real estate investors and works closely with the Debt Advisory team in London advising clients in Europe.
Gijs has more than fifteen years of experience with real estate financing. He worked for Rabobank and more recently at real estate financier RNHB. There he advised relations as a client manager in building large real estate portfolios and analysing and structuring financing applications. At Rabobank, Gijs helped clients with restructuring and recovery of non-performing real estate loans and limiting credit losses. Gijs started his career as a lawyer, among others with the restructuring, recovery and bankruptcy team at Holland van Gijzen Advocaten en Notarissen.
