Gereon Kohlgrüber, MRICS

Gereon Kohlgrüber is a Managing Director and Head of Investments for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is based in Düsseldorf, where he leads a team of investment professionals.  He is primarily responsible for identifying, negotiating, structuring and closing real estate acquisitions. Gereon has been working in the real estate industry for 30 years and, prior to joining AEW in 2006, he held the position of Head of Investments at the German insurance company, Gerling Konzern. He has also worked for Deutsche Immobilien Leasing, a subsidiary of the Deutsche Bank group. During his career, Gereon has completed acquisitions totalling approximately €10bn. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is a member of RICS.
