Frank Aalbers is EMEA Residential Asset Operations Lead at CBRE Investment Management, where he is responsible for driving operational performance across the firm’s European residential platform. He oversees operational strategy and performance across CBRE IM’s residential portfolios, working closely with asset management, investment and operating partner teams to enhance resident experience, optimise asset performance and support long-term value creation.

Prior to his current role, Frank led CBRE IM’s Dutch residential platform as Head of Asset Management, with responsibility for a portfolio of approximately €4 billion of residential assets over nearly six years. In his current EMEA leadership position, he focuses on strengthening operational consistency across markets, promoting best practice sharing and supporting the continued growth of the firm’s living-sector strategies across Europe.

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Frank was Head of Research at MVGM. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and a master’s degree in Economic Geography, and has completed additional studies at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate.
