Francesco Cocco is an architect specializing in Design for All, social housing, and longevity. He serves as a consultant for public administrations and private companies, focusing on projects that enhance universal accessibility in urban environments, construction, and transportation.

Over the past decade, Francesco has collaborated with prestigious organizations, including the World Bank, the International Development Bank, and the National Innovation Centre for Ageing in Newcastle, where he contributed as an ambassador for the City of Longevity program.

He has been an active member of the Acceplan office for more than 10 years, working alongside a team of professionals dedicated to consultancy, research, and training in universal accessibility, urban planning, and mobility. Additionally, he is part of the technical assistance team for the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, serving as a senior consultant in universal design for the implementation of the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) Regional Program 2021-27.

Francesco is also a writer and author of publications aimed at improving living environments, with notable works including Barcelona Superilla (2024) and Social Housing Barcelona (2020), both published by ListLab Editions. He is one of the co-authors of Senior Coach (2021), published by Liberetà Editions. His extensive expertise bridges design, policy, and practical implementation, making him a key figure in advancing accessibility and longevity-focused initiatives.
