Erik Jacobs

Erik Jacobs is the director of transactions for the Hotel Fund Management team at Invesco Real Estate (IRE), a dedicated specialist team who manage IRE’s investment in the hotel real estate sector. He joined the team in September 2011, which today consists of eight professionals with experience from both a hotel operator and fund management perspective. Erik has 16 years’ experience in hotel investing, valuations and financing. Prior to joining IRE, Erik worked for Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for pan-European hospitality acquisitions and asset management. Before this he worked for HVS International, in both the valuation and advisory team and the capital markets team. His professional and educational qualifications include an MBA from Cornell University with a focus on Real Estate Investing and Finance and a BA degree from the Netherland’s Institute for Tourism and Transport Studies.
