Eric van der Burg

Erik van der Burg is alderman and deputy Mayor of the city of Amsterdam. He is responsable for City Development, Sports, Airport and Care. His political career started in Amsterdam in 1987, he was member of the City Council since 1992. He is the leader of the liberal party, he focusses on development of large new comprehensive development in teh next four years. He believes very much that quality in architecture comes first.
Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is an ambitious and fast growing city, that is a magnet for talent, international companies, knowledge institutes and investors. Investment in all asset classes of real estate is growing since the crisis last seven years.
