Daniel Kautenburger-Behr

Daniel is a Partner at RSM Germany and member of the RSM Global Real Estate Group. He is qualified as German attorney-at-law (Rechtsanwalt) and certified tax advisor (Steuerberater) and has specialized experience in real estate and real estate finance transactions. He advises developers, investors and financial institutions in real estate related transactions. His clients include pension funds, asset and investment managers and family offices. Further areas of expertise include corporate law and M&A. Daniel is a frequently recommended lawyer by various legal news publishers.

Daniel has been appointed as a member of supervisory boards of several companies and he is a regular guest speaker at conferences and special events. He furthermore is co-authoring a leading commentary on German investment law. He joined RSM as Partner in 2009. Prior to joining RSM, he has been General Counsel of a stock listed real estate company engaged in investments, developments and asset management. He was inter alia responsible for the securitization of large residential portfolios and the take-over of a property management group to extend the value chain.

Daniel studied law at the universities of Bonn and Saarbrücken (Dr. jur.) with a study period in New York (Fordham law school and internship at the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, First Judicial Department).
