Cyrus Gilbert-Rolfe

CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Movvo, Portugal

Movvo Background

Movvo help retail real estate operators and owners create greater value from their assets and visitors. We provide business intelligence and live engagement services using a combination of proprietary technology, industry expertise, R&D and bold thinking.  Founded in Porto, Portugal and headquartered in the UK, Movvo have over 40 employees serving customers in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

The way you understand and engage your shoppers directly monetises your assets, increasing their value. Consumer behaviour within a location is complex and hard to influence. It remains tough to know what behavioural intelligence data is important and available, to support evidence-based decision making across asset management, leasing, marketing and operations.

We fuse robust traffic counting, real-time shopper behaviour in centre and your own data, with valuable multiple sourced third party data streams in an easy to consume dashboard environment. Our live engagement service provides influencing tools to engage shoppers in real-time and our on-demand consulting services apply our expertise directly to your business.

Cyrus Gilbert-Rolfe is CEO of Movvo and Chairman of the company’s board of directors. Cyrus has been responsible for all aspects of the business, including driving Movvo’s growth and building the global team. Cyrus also serves on the Innovation Board for the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).

Prior to Movvo, Cyrus was an integral part of the company that defined mobile location analytics, Path Intelligence. While there he led the location strategy for many major real estate players including Land Securities, Hammerson, IKEA Centres, Cadillac Fairview, Hysan, Xintiandi, Forest City and Macerich. Before Path Intelligence, Cyrus was Head of Retail at industry titans Microsoft and then EMC, where he led a team of several hundred people.
