Cay-Marco is a Partner and he leads the M&A digital infrastructure coverage with 15+ years of investment banking experience.
Cay-Marco joined PwC in his current position in April-22 and leads our M&A Advisory team focusing on the digital infrastructure sectors, including fibre networks, data centres and towers.
Prior to joining PwC, Cay-Marco played pivotal roles at ING in Germany, where he established their Corporate Finance and M&A franchise. Before that, he made significant contributions to Nomura/Lehman Brothers in London, where he directed the firm’s EMEA Business Services coverage effort.
Beyond investment banking, Cay-Marco has five years experience in implementing a buy-and-build strategy for Celesio AG in the Benelux region.
Throughout his career, he led numerous corporate finance advisory mandates comprising M&A buy-side and M&A sell-side transactions, equity partners searches and M&A advisory work for consortia, corporate carve-outs and IPOs. His experience also includes financing experience in LBO financings as well as the introduction of relevant hedging products mitigating transaction risks.
