Bert van den Hoek

Bert van den Hoek joined Bouwinvest International in 2020 as Senior Portfolio Manager North America. He is responsible for the portfolio construction and performance of the investments made on behalf of the Bouwinvest North America mandate. In 2020, he opened Bouwinvest’s New York office. Bert’s all-round, international real estate career started in 1993 and includes origination, asset management, developments, fundraising and corporate finance advisory. After working in NL with PGGM (1993-96), he has been based in New York with Westbrook Partners (1996-99) and in London with Morgan Stanley (2000-2003), GIC (2003-04), Deutsche Bank (2004-2011) and Partners Group (2012-19). Bert has a Master degree in Civil Engineering (Delft, NL), Real Estate (Amsterdam, NL) and a MBA (Rotterdam, NL).
