Andy Watson

Andy Watson graduated from Oxford University with a degree in German & French literature. He started work in 1989 as a trainee Chartered Surveyor with Weatherall Green and Smith in London before moving to Frankfurt in 1991, Berlin in 1992 and Paris in 1995. For the last 22 years he has been based in Paris where he has worked extensively across Europe – both as a co-founder of The Retail Consulting Group and as a Managing Director and CIO – Continental Europe of LaSalle Investment Management. Andy has over 25 years’ real estate experience and oversaw acquisition of over €1.5bn of retail assets whislt at LaSalle.

Andy has extensive experience in all major retail markets in Continental Europe and serves on the MAPIC Awards Jury (exhibition and conference dedicated to retail real estate professionals).

Andy has contributed to PropertyEU and RetailWatch magazines and in 2017 published his first Book “A Thousand Days in Berlin”
