Andy Saull

Andy is Research Associate at Pi Labs, merging his passion for innovation with his knowledge of sustainability.

Andy holds a BSc in Financial Economics from the University of London and an MSc in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Oxford, writing his dissertation on the barriers to adoption of smart building technologies.

Previous to Pi Labs, Andy was Research Assistant for the Oxford Future of Real Estate Initiative. Where he co-authored Oxford University publications “PropTech 2020: the future of real estate”, “The Future of Real Estate Transactions” and “The Future of Real Estate Occupation: Issues”, while in May 2020 his first academic paper “Can digital technologies speed up real estate transactions?” was published in the Journal of Property Investment and Finance.

Prior to that, Andy completed a successful 10 year career in professional Rugby Union, winning the English Premiership in 2011 with London based club Saracens, and representing England Second XV on numerous occasions.
