Andrew provides a full service real estate, corporate real estate and real estate finance function for clients engaged in the real estate, corporate, finance, restructuring, and energy and infrastructure sectors. He has extensive experience in acquisitions and disposals, with joint ventures and with structured investments.
Experience
Notable transactions upon which Andrew has advised include:
- Sports Direct on its acquisition of 161-167 Oxford Street and 36 Poland Street. Transaction is due to complete by the end of April 2016 for circa £108 million.
- Mash Holdings Limited on is joint venture acquisition and funding arrangements for the Clearings residential development in Kensington and Chelsea for an aggregate consideration of in excess of £200 million.
- Sports Direct on its disposal of its 32,500 sq ft office block at 120 New Cavendish Street to the University of Westminster for £44 million
- Blackstone on its acquisition of Chiswick Park, London for £480 million
- Norges Bank on its acquisition of a 25% interest in Regent Street for £448 million from the Crown Estate
- Carlyle Group on its £671 million acquisition of the White Tower portfolio
- Blackstone on its refinancing of Chiswick Park, London for £600 million
- Perenco on its acquisition of US$400 million of South North Sea gas assets from BP and on its acquisition of a 68% stake in Wytch Farm for US$610 million
- Apache Corporation on its acquisition of Mobil North Sea Limited from ExxonMobil for US$1.75 billion
- Sinopec on its acquisition of a 49% interest in Talisman Energy for US$1.5 billion
- Resolution on Pearl Group’s £5 billion recommended takeover
- 3i Group Plc in connection with its £175 million acquisition of Ultralase
- Tata group on its acquisition of Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford for £1.3 billion
- JJB Sports plc in relation to its creditors voluntary arrangements and advising its administrators in connection with its subsequent administration and sale
- Essenden Plc and Tenpin Limited in connection with their creditors voluntary arrangements
