Simon Fairchild

Simon Fairchild is Executive Director at MSCI and is responsible for the overall management of IPD’s relationships with and services to Canadian investors and managers. Simon has previously been responsible for: managing the operations of IPD North America; the Global Client Management team at IPD; the UK Portfolio Analysis Service; technical development of IPD’s measurement, benchmarking and risk analysis services; and the development of IPD’s services in South Africa and Ireland. Simon was a director of IPD prior to its acquisition by MSCI Inc in 2012. He joined IPD in 1988 from a background in asset management with a major UK bank. He has a degree in Economics from Leicester University, a masters degree in Economics & Finance from the Warwick University Business School and is a member of the Investment Property Forum.
