Hunter Kuhlwein

Hunter Kuhlwein is the Chief Technology Officer at the CRREM Foundation, with over a decade of experience in real estate, including roles in portfolio & transaction management and brokerage. He joined CRREM four years ago and focuses on research linking real estate to climate change. The last year was dedicated to the transition of the former EU horizon project to the newly founded NGO CRREM Foundation. He works on developing decarbonization pathways, strengthening data systems, and supporting CRREM’s shift to an open-source nonprofit model. The CRREM Foundation’s mission is globally recognised for providing independent, open-access tools that guide the industry toward effective decarbonisation.
