Michael Hodges

Michael Hodges joined Christie & Co in 2002, was appointed a Director in 2005 and joined the Corporate Healthcare team in 2007. Michael is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with 28 years’ experience in alternatives, specialising in the healthcare sector for most of his career where his market knowledge spans a wide spectrum of health and social care operations from large portfolios to single assets in the UK and Germany. Michael established Christie & Co’s healthcare consultancy business in 2013 working on a wide variety of elderly and specialist care facilities, hospitals, children’s homes, day nurseries, schools, dental and pharmacy businesses. His client base includes a wide range of operators and investment funds including institutional investors, private equity companies, REITS and others active across Christie & Co’s specialist markets.

Michael has developed significant expertise in the investment and capital markets space and in April 2024, he was appointed as Managing Director of Capital Markets with a brief to lead Christie & Co’s activity in this area. His new role involves working closely with Christie & Co’s specialist sector teams covering healthcare, hospitality, hotels, medical, childcare, education, retail and leisure on a pan European basis.
