Déborah Fischer

As RSM Belgium’s ESG reporting Leader, Déborah assists organizations with ESG- values,  strategy, reporting, targets, policies and procedures. She has over 25 years of assurance and advisory experience serving both domestic and global entities. For the last 10 years, she has supported companies with ESG pre-assurance & assurance (based on GRI, green bonds requirements or now CSRD/ESRS/EU Taxonomy, CSDDD).

Déborah was a pioneer in ESG regulatory matters and participates in EFRAG’s Connectivity Advisory Panel and Digital Reporting Group, in Accountancy Europe’s Sustainability Working Party and in the Belgian Institute of Registered Auditors’ ESG commission. She is a long-standing member of the jury of the Best Belgian Sustainability Report. She has also participated in various publications around this critical business topic, gives training at the Belgian Institute of Registered Auditors, Belgian Institute of Chartered Accountants and Tax advisors and is also a guest speaker at the Liège University and Solvay Business School in the Sustainable management program.  Déborah is a member of RSM International ESG leadership group and participates in the RSM CSRD methodology team.
