Marc Elshof

Marc Elshof is a partner in Dentons Boekel and is based in Amsterdam. He has broad commercial experience with a particular focus on IT and data protection. Marc advises on IT matters, including software licensing, hardware sales, cloud computing agreements, and claims arising from failed IT projects.

He assists global clients, including in the retail sector, on their national and cross-border data protection issues and data protection strategy, as well as on cybersecurity issues. Most recently, Marc has advised on data breaches, consumer tracking, processing of health data and the implementation of the new General Data Protection Regulation.

In addition to IT contracts, Marc assists our clients in negotiations and litigation in relation to a wide range of other commercial contracts, including delivery contracts, distribution, franchise and agency agreements, license agreements and professional service contracts. He also represents clients in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, in particular relating to software copyrights and trademarks.
