Vladimir Frolov
Director of the Centre for Energy Efficiency, Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering, Russia
Vladimir Frolov was born in Pyatigorsk, Russia in 1973. He holds two MS degrees in Communication Technologies and Urban Gorvernance.
From 1995 till 1997 he served as a senior Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Baikonur cosmodrome. From 1997 till 2000 he was Development Manager of Telecommunication projects in Telecom Italia. From 2000 till 2004 he worked in Invest Consult Group as a Director of investment Department and was responsible for the organization of financing of development projects.
From 2004 till 2007 Chief Financial Officer in Espro Group. In 2007 he was appointed as General Director of the Group of Companies “Industrial Estate Development” and was engaged in the development of the Industrial park Marino» in St. Petersburg and warehouse complex in Krasnodar.
In 2012 he held the posistion of Director of the Complex Energy Efficiency Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and was engaged in the development of energy efficiency in campuses.
Since 2014 he is Director of the Center in Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering (MAMI) and develops the new campus development concept.
