Ulrich Kneisel

Head of Real Estate Asset Management, SEB Investment GmbH, Germany

Ulrich Kneisel took up his current role as Head of Real Estate Asset Management in 2011. He is responsible for managing and coordinating Commercial & Technical Asset Management, Property Management, Leasing and Projects & Repositioning. Since 2013 he is also coordinating Real Estate Transactions in Germany. Moreover, he supervises SEB AM’s developments in Europe and Asia.

Having completed his studies in Architecture and Urban Planning in Darmstadt and Frankfurt, he started his career in 1990 with an Agency of Urban Planning and Architecture. In 1995 he became Head of Project Management for Commercial Projects.

In 1997 Ulrich Kneisel joined SEB Asset Management, a leading investor on the European market for commercial properties which pursues an international investment strategy. SEB AM manages more than 200 properties in 20 countries on four continents. He started at SEB AM as Project Manager for Europe and the United States, becoming Head of Real Estate Technical Asset Management and Projects & Repositioning in 2004.

He is member of the advisory board with the German Sustainable Building Council.
