Within my role as a sr. investment manager for PGGM I am involved in the acquisition, monitoring and disposing private real estate investments in Europe. While real estate investments have a proven track record for adding value to the investment portfolio of PGGM clients, we put in a lot of effort to align our partners in reducing the carbon footprint of its real estate portfolio. In addition we believe that improving the usability of the assets and stimulating the end-user to contribute to a sustainable (local) economy improves the quality of assets and will deliver long term performance.
