Simon J Radford

As Chief Executive Simon is responsible for overseeing the LIM team and the business operations and management functions. Simon chairs the LIM Board and is a member of the LIM Risk Committee. Simon also has executive responsibility for all LIM Funds. Each fund has an independent Board that is responsible for corporate governance and approval of the Fund’s annual investment strategy. Simon sits on the relevant Board for each vehicle. The development of the business development strategy in conjunction with the Head of Business Development and the marketing and promotion of LIM Funds also forms part of Simon’s remit.

Career Experience
Simon has 31 years investment experience in both direct and indirect property investment. Simon was responsible for leading the management buyout of the business from KBC Asset Management (UK) Limited and the formation of LIM in June 2010. Previously, Simon led the indirect property investment division for Gartmore Asset Management before joining The KBC Group in 2004.
He is responsible for developing the Lothbury Investment Management core/active investment strategy to provide investors with exposure to the UK and European property through the launch of Lothbury Property Trust in 2000 and The European Property Fund in 2006. He was also instrumental in establishing The Clarendon Unit Trust and securing The Secure Income Portfolio for the business in March 2011. More recently Simon has lead the establishment of the new Lothbury Select Fund and the development of the relationship with the US distribution partner.

Simon is a Director of The Association of Real Estate Funds and The RICS Planning & Development Faculty Board. He is also a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, The British Council of Shopping Centres and The Investment Property Forum.

Education
BSc Honours Degree in Estate Management.
Simon also holds The Investment Management Certificate and is regulated to carry out Investment Business.
