Clare Thomas

Clare is a partner in the Real Estate group with experience acting for domestic and international property companies, funds and institutions on investments and developments.

In addition to acting on a number of significant investment transactions in the City, Clare has a broad range of experience in the retail sector acting on various developments and anchor pre-lettings on a number of significant out of town schemes.

Recently, Clare has led a number of leisure and hotel transactions (utilising joint ventures, indirect and opco and propco structures) and is familiar with hotel operating and management agreements.

In 2012 she was a member of a working party of industry experts which produced “Readiness for Sale – A guide for streamlining commercial property transactions”. She has also written for the Property Law Journal and lead on the creation of our annual real estate research reports, details of which you can find below. Clare is  a regular presenter at various industry events.
